A centre established up by a group of parents to supply critical intervention expert services to younger youngsters with Down syndrome and their families has been named the overall winners of the Cork International Hotel Group Spirit Award 2022. It is the second year of the monthly awards to honour the unsung heroes who volunteer and make a sizeable contribution to their group.
A gala evening meal was held at the Cork International Hotel to rejoice the 12 regular recipients and to name the over-all winners. The awards night time was attended by Cllr. Fergal Dennehy who deputised on behalf of the Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Jack White who deputised on behalf of the County Mayor, and elected associates from the community who were included in the awards all through the calendar year.
Down Syndrome Centre Cork, the May winner, was declared as the Judges Over-all Winner at the distinctive party.
