CLG, Moda propose revival of historic Philip Island hotel

Hospitality group CLG and builders Moda are in search of setting up approvals for the redevelopment of Phillip Island’s iconic Isle of Wight Lodge into a vivid hotel, dining and retail precinct.

Developed by Alexander and Co, the proposed programs incorporate a circa 160-space lodge, ground flooring F&B facilities such as a signature restaurant, a large-scale celebration house, state-of-the-art wellness centre and a pool deck.

The 8600sqm web site, which was ordered in January 2021 by Moda Phillip Island Pty, was house to Phillip Island’s first resort The Isle of Wight which opened in 1870 just before getting ruined by a fire in 1925 and all over again, in 2010.
